Offered for sale is this attractive late 19th century sterling silver locket and collar. The locket has a two-color gold flower decoration to the front.
The locket has an English hallmark and was assayed in Birmingham in 1882/83. The chain tests for sterling.
The locket and collar are in very good used condition. It has one rim and perspex present inside. This opens and closes as it should and is free from damage or repair.
This is a medium to large size locket and measures just under 1 1/2 inches excluding the bale by approx 1 1/8th inch wide. The chain measures 17 inches by 3 mm wide. The necklace weighs 28.7 grams in total.
