Offered for sale is this useful 19th Century 9ct gold split ring, used for seals and fobs.
It is unmarked but has been electronically tested for 9 ct gold and weighs 1.3 grams. All these gold split rings could have a metal core inside for strength but it is impossible to tell unless cut completely through.
This is a good size and measures 16.5 mm outer edge diameter and 14 mm internal diameter. It is in very good condition and will arrive in a quality brand new gift box.
