This lovely brooch dates from around 1900 and is 9ct gold with an old fashion 9CARAT mark and is made by The Sydenham Brothers.
The gold is a lovely warm rose colour.
The decoration is wonderful with delicate ivy leaves surrounding a puffy love heart (the Victorians used the ivy leaf as a symbol
of a long and lasting friendship).
The brooch is good condition and the pin is strong.
It measures 4.4cm (1 3/4 inch) long and weighs 2.1g.
