Easy Post-Sale Follow Up Template to BuyersAfter shipping an item to your buyer, it's a good idea to follow-up with them to confirm that they received the item in good order. Here's a simple template you can use to send to your buyer to confirm that they were happy with the purchase:
We are following up on your recent purchase. Has your order arrived yet? Did it arrive in the condition described? We welcome any comments or suggestions that you may have and we invite you to shop with us again. We regularly add new items.
Ruby Lane strongly recommends using ordering tracking when shipping. However it's still a good idea to follow-up with the buyer to make sure they are satisfied with the purchase. A simple cut and paste email after every transaction is easy to do. (Note: You'll also want to wait until the transaction is completed and receipt of the item is confirmed before marking the item as Sold.)
