Buying online can sometimes get confusing, but I am here to assist you in any way that I can. So please email me, or call me, with any questions or concerns. We can get this done!

And no matter what .... if you don't love it .... return it !!

While rare, at times, it could happen ... while we are completing a sale by phone ... an email order arrives for the same item. On those rare occasions, the first contact takes precedence.


Return Policy

Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy

Shipping, Handling, Insurance Policy

Buyers are to pay shipping and insurance fees where applicable. I usually ship my items through USPS, or the most economical way possible. Some larger items will be packed and shipped by UPS.

Items ship to paypal verifiable addresses unless prior arrangements are made.

Restocking Fee

I do not charge a restocking fee, I want you to be pleased with your purchase!

Layaway Policy

This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.

All of my items are purchased at estate sales, auctions, and second hand sales. They are vintage pieces, and are sold as such. I describe all flaws or wear that I can find, and try to take good close up pictures.

I do a light cleaning on all items I list, but they may need a more thorough cleaning. If they do need further attention, I will mention it.

Please remember that the items I am selling have all been previously owned. I buy estates and frequently get calls from people selling family heirlooms. I also buy at auctions and the occasional flea market and garage sale.

Some items have been more 'gently' used than others. It is unrealistic to assume they will look and smell brand new. I will describe any flaws, I do not hide or gloss over damage! My goal is a satisfied customer.
