We here at Victoria Sterling want you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase from us! We feel our job description is 'Finding old jewelry new and loving homes', so if you don't love it for any reason, just let us know and we'll be happy to help you return it us for a full refund!

Return Policy

Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy

Shipping, Handling, Insurance Policy

All items will be shipped via UPS or FedEx, all items are sent insured. If you have a preference for UPS or FedEx or even USPS, please let us know right away and we will try to accommodate any requests. For international shipping quotes, please fill out the purchase order and I will contact you with a shipping quote (it's usually about $30-50 US). Please note that due to shipping and insurance limitations I cannot send packages to South Africa or some part of China, if you have an international address, please wait for confirmation that I can ship to you before making payment.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I ONLY PROVIDE TRACKING INFORMATION UPON REQUEST AND ONLY TO VERIFIED SHIPPING ADDRESSES! You must e-mail me to request this information, it will not be automatically provided to you.

PLEASE BE AWARE that many countries charge import tax on jewelry. Tax levels vary by country and I do not know them. This tax is the responsibility of the buyer. Please know your import tax level before purchasing, don't let this be a surprise to you and push the cost to much more than you wanted to pay. I will not ship items as gifts, please don't ask. Thanks!

Restocking Fee

We very rarely charge for restocking, as long as the item is returned in like condition with its original packaging. However, we do reserve the right to charge up to a 10% restocking fee on all items returned, should the item be lacking original packaging or not in like-condition as it was shipped to you (ie, resized or altered in some way). Please ask if you have any questions or concerns about this. Restocking fees may be waived if the item is not as represented or if you would like store credit.

Layaway Policy

This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.

Other Information

We take all major credit cards over the phone. If you'd like to pay with a credit card, you can go ahead and fill out the purchase order to reserve your item and then give us a call at (608) 620-1927 to complete your transaction.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but we can only accept PayPal payments from PayPal users with a verified shipping address. This is for our protection as well as that of our customers, we hope you understand and we are always happy to take a credit card over the phone instead.

At no time would I ever knowingly misrepresent my property. If Property purchased is not satisfactory to the buyer for ANY REASON, the original buyer shall have the right within 3 business days of receiving the Property to rescind the transaction by so notifying the seller and by returning the Property to the seller, in the same condition as when received by the buyer, at the buyer's risk, cost and expense. If the item was damaged during return shipping, buyer needs to contact the shipper to resolve this matter. Seller will provide any necessary paperwork to help buyer with this matter.

For purchases of $5,000 USD or over by clients outside the US, we only accept bank wire transfers. Thanks for your understanding.

Sales tax of 5.5% added to all orders in the state of WI.

Layaway Plans Available, details are above, but we'd like to add that we are always happy to work with you to help you to fulfill your layaway; but to help we need to know your needs. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have trouble making your payments or need a little extra time. We understand that sometimes other needs take priority to jewelry, as much as we wish this wasn't so!
