Our Service Pledge

We guarantee the authenticity of our items and are dedicated to good customer service. As members of the National Antique Doll Dealers Association (NADDA) we adhere to their ethical code for customer service. We are glad to supply additional information about our dolls. Items listed by Lynette will have an inventory number beginning with LG while Joan's inventory numbers begin with JF. Lynette will respond within 36 hours. Joan may at times take a bit longer when she is traveling or out of the country with limited Internet access. These times are posted in our message. Thank you for your patience. Joan mails new items on Saturday or Monday.

Return Policy

Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy

Shipping, Handling, Insurance Policy

Buyer pays for actual shipping, handling, and insurance. Insurance is required. On international orders, any additional cost to the seller (e.g., Pay-Pal "cross border" fees) will be passed on to the buyer.

Restocking Fee

We charge a 10% restocking fee for items returned unless damage that affects value exists that was not noted or an item is materially different from our description.

Layaway Policy

This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.

FURTHER INFORMATION ON OUR LAYAWAY POLICY: If you make an offer on a doll asking for a discount of greater than 10 percent, please contact us before also requesting layaway. We want our customers to be able to purchase the dolls they love but it is not fair nor a realistic business practice to ask for both a large discount and layaway. We might be able to accommodate you but a large discount offer will be accepted as immediate payment with no layaway. Generous layaway terms with monthly payments are available as we want you to be able to own the doll of your choice. We actually do offer layaways for longer than the 180 days that Ruby Lane indicates. Please ask us about the length that is possible. We also are somewhat flexible on the original down payment amount. Please email for options. Refunds will not be given for layaway payments; however, if you change your mind during a layaway, you may use payments made as a credit toward another doll. We think this is fair to both parties. For layaway purchases we honor our return option if there is uncalled damage. We also offer "Bill me later" through Paypal - which offers 6 months to pay.
FURTHER INFORMATION ON THE MAILING ADDRESS FOR CHECKS: Lynette and Joan have separate mailing addresses. For Lynette's items with inventory numbers starting with LG, please make the checks payable to her and mail to the following address: Lynette Gross, 13710 Smokey Ridge Trace. For Joan's items with inventory items starting with JF, Joan will email her address after a purchase is made.
Sales tax is charged for purchasers within Indiana unless a valid resale number is supplied.
