We guarantee the authenticity of all our items. We have been serving the Tampa Bay Area since 1985, and going strong. Our jewelry store has a combined knowledge of over 100 years buying and selling experience. Our name means everything to us. We offer honesty and value. We treasure your business and promise to run our establishment in an upstanding and moral fashion. You can trust us to be as honest with you as you are with us. We do our very best to describe every item with truth and accuracy. We do not photoshop our photos and try to have as much information as possible to make your purchase a fun treasured find.

Our experienced staff includes multiple gold, silver and platinum smiths. All work is done on premise. If you see something online that you would like altered, don't be afraid to ask! Our jewelers have upcycled several vintage pieces making them more modern and desirable for todays fashion trends. We employ a watch maker who has 40 years of experience. Two jewelry designers, 1 GIA certified diamond appraiser, 3 jewelers and 4 buyers complete out staff.

Shipping, Handling, Insurance Policy

All items are presented as a gift whether purchased for someone else or for yourself! Our items are securely shipped in a gift box with beautiful packaging. Items will be shipped cleaned but to preserve natural patina if applicable. Polishing is always FREE upon request!

See domestic shipping charges posted individually on each item listed. Ruby Lane does not automatically combine the shipping for multiple items, however, we do combine shipping where available and will refund you if you overpay. Insurance is based on the value of the item being purchased, we allow you to decline insurance if you want to take the risk. If you decline insurance and something happens to your package (lost,damaged,stolen) you will not be able to file a claim and will be out all monies spent on the order. We are not responsible for reimbursing you. We charge only the exact cost of insurance and postage with NO additional packaging or handling fee.

Domestic shipping USPS priority and express service with tracking, and insurance if you choose to pay the additional cost. Express shipping is a cost of $25+ and will include insurance and require a signature.

We ship internationally for as little as $9 - $14 (depending on the Country) plus insurance. Higher value items may require a different service and increased shipping cost. USPS first class, priority and express are available as well as FedEx International shipping.

Restocking Fee

Up to 20% restocking fee may apply to items if returned damaged or held for an excessive amount of time. Also if an item is polished or altered in any way to where the item no longer looks like the listings pictures a 20% restocking fee will be applied. We appreciate immediate notice if you would like to return an item due to buyers remorse. No re-stocking fee will apply if the item was misrepresented or inadequately described. Shipping charges are not refunded unless the item was grossly misrepresented.

Layaway Policy

This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.

Other Information

All jewelry listed on Ruby Lane is pictured as we received it. Usually it is in need of some cleaning and polishing. We will polish to like new condition as requested at no additional cost to you. All special requests must be made through the purchase order to ensure it is seen before shipping. Older antique or vintage pieces will be cleaned without polishing to maintain the patina. If there are any flaws visible in the photos (which are greatly enlarged) we will repair as needed or replace any missing gem stones or prongs prior to shipping. All items shown are pre-owned estate pieces unless specified as custom pieces made in our store. All gem stone weights are estimated based on measurement. No gem stones are removed from their mountings in order to maintain the integrity of the items.

That's why when you buy jewelry, you literally invest in your future and begin to create family heirlooms. And we certainly appreciate your taking a look at our site and our treasures!

We offer a 6 month layaway with 20% down for purchases over $300. Layaways are non-transferable and final sales. Any money put towards the layaway will be forfeited if layaway is canceled. Only one layaway at a time. Several items can be put on layaway in one order, however, multiple purchase orders for layaway is not allowed. Please ask us if the item qualifies for layaway prior to creating a purchase order.

We are happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases. You may shop for up to 2 weeks before requesting a total with combined shipping. Simply commit to buy individual items and when you are ready to pay, ask us to combine your orders.

Payments accepted: Domestic personal check (delays shipping 10 days). International check (delays shipping 30 days). Money order or certified check (immediate shipping). Credit or Debit cards are processed through Paypal only. We do not accept any cards over the telephone due to fraudulent activity. If you need immediate shipping we highly suggest using Paypal. All payments are posted to your purchase order as soon as received and shipping / tracking info is posted as soon as available.

We collect 7% sales tax in Florida only. No tax for dealers with proper proof of tax identification number.
