Ruby Plaza Shop of the Day - Jewelry by Andrea

Shop Owner: Andrea Kelly

A little introduction:
My jewelry is inspired by countries and cultures around the world. I love working with materials that are made by hand through traditional methods, especially those with a spiritual meaning. I enjoy researching how the materials are made, their symbolic meaning and history within a culture. I use the pendants, beads and stones to then make unique hand-strung necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

What got you started selling online?
I have been participating in local Jewelry shows for 2 ½ years. I have had my own website for that entire time but have started selling on sites like Ruby Plaza to grow my customer base. My line is exotic and tends to have larger sized pieces. There is definitely a customer base out there for my pieces and sites like Ruby Plaza help me connect with those who are looking for something different, spiritually based and designs that make a statement.
