Our imagination is attracted to small things detailed in artistic ways. Skilled artisans love crafting miniatures, and people love observing, handling, and collecting them. Dan Ohlman, a former cabinet-maker of 15 years, fell in love with the art of the miniature in the 1980’s, and in 1989, opened the Palais de la Miniature (The Miniature Palace) in Lyons, France.  The museum also is home to over 300 famous movie props from movies like Mrs. Doubtfire. Here are some of our favorite miniature film sets below. If you are in France, this is a MUST SEE museum. You can learn more about the museum on their website here.
