So odd that I can’t recall the name of that first baby doll, but recall her being naked and plastic! LOL The first doll that I remember really meaning the world to me was my Chatty Kathy and she was blonde. Got her during my last Christmas spent with my daddy whom I so TOTALLY adored and love purely still. Sadly, he passed on in a helicopter accident state-side that following June; had just turned ’29’ years of age two days prior.

Perhaps due to Daddy’s passing, that Chatty Kathy doll remains my favorite in my memory – of all that came before and those after.
