Always Enough Time To Do What You Love

Are you like me? I think a lot of shop owners are. We juggle part or full time jobs, maintain online shops and take care of our families and home lives.

We have to find that extra time to hunt for inventory (sometimes like me) in between jobs or on our lunch hour, as a lot of thrift stores close up at 3:00 P.M. Of course most of us are out there on Saturdays running from one yard sale to the other in hopes of finding some special items to add to our online shop's inventory.

We come home after work and have to get supper on the table, check our emails to see if we sold anything and if we did, get the items all wrapped, boxed, labeled and ready to go. Then get back to the customers to let them know when the item or items will be shipped, etc. Then we have to find the time before, during or after work to get the items to the Post Office for shipping. Whew! Are we exhausted yet?

I bet a lot of you sit back and say "Is it really worth it?" All this running around finding time for everything we have to do in our already hectic lives.

Well, if you're anything like me, it's a unanimous "Yes!" Why do we say yes? Because we all love what we do. The hunting, the finding and yes the selling most of all. I know I get all excited when I log on to the computer, check my emails and see that I have made a sale or sales. Yeah for me! Of course you see all the items on your customers Wish List and think, wow, they actually like my items and that always makes you feel good.

So, like a lot of other shop owners, I love what I do and that is what it all comes down to, loving what we do. So, keep it up, sometimes it's hard, sometimes it's easy, but, we all know there are enough hours in the day to get it all done. If you enjoy what you're doing, you will always find that extra time for everything.
