They say that nothing in life is free ! But this complimentary pottery CN ashtray by Canadian Art Pottery was given free to passengers traveling on the railroad during the 1940's and 50's. The ashtray has a brown green glaze and measures 4 3/8" in diameter. Apart from some crazing due to age the ashtray is in mint condition with no chips or cracks. The back of the ashtray is stamped A200 Canada which is symbolic of the Canadian Art Pottery mark.
