This is a very scarce and a highly collectible score register for every gun enthusiast. This circa 1910 Parker 's Rifle Shot's Register, which contains 98 pages of shooting instructions, wind charts and score targets, was published by the A. G. Parker & Co. Ltd., Birmingham, England. It provides details, diagrams and instructions on the bullets flights, movements of the rifle, positions in shooting, sights for the Territorial Service Rifle and the L - M and L - E rifles, aiming a rifle, let off, elevations, wind allowance and cleaning. It also contains charts for elevations at different ranges, Bisley targets and markings, ordinary miniature rifle targets and wind charts ranging from gentle to gale winds and a detailed schematic of the Lee - Enfield Mark 1 rifle. Also included are score targets up to and including 600 yards. Most of the score targets are penciled, which can easily be erased if one desires to use them. The register is in excellent condition with all the pages intact, no stains, rips or tears and very minor wear to the edges of some pages. The front and back end flaps bears hand written notes from the owner. This instruction and score register measures 6 1/4" x 4", and has a wallet style dark green cloth cover embossed with gilt lettering
