This is a very scarce and a highly collectible score register for every gun enthusiast. This circa 1910 B. S. A. All Distance Score Register was published by The Birmingham Small Arms Co. Ltd., Birmingham, England. This 148 page score register, plus twenty additional pages of adverts, consists of an introduction by E. J. Newitt with tables of angles compiled by the B. S. A. Co. for .303 Service Cartridges, .303 Match Cartridges for Service Rifle, .375/.303 Match Cartridges, Sights, Wind Velocity, Diagrams, digest and notes for permanent records of shots at 200, 300, 500, 600, 800, 900, 1,000 and 1,100 yards, (unused & penciled). This score register measures 7 1/2" x 5 1/4" and has a wallet style dark green cloth cover with great advertisements for Marksman's Rifle, Webley Scott Pistols, BSA Aperture Sights, Bisley 1909 Rifles, Eley Cartridges, BSA Air and Miniature Rifles, Lynx Binoculars, Kynoch .22 R. F. Cartridges, A.G. Parker & Co. Ltd. and many more. The register is in excellent condition with all the pages intact, no stains rips or tears and very minor ware to the edges of some pages. The front end flap is inscribed Corp. C. Stalker (V.C.R & 163 Calgary Rifles) and bears a few hand written notes from the owner. To top everything off this score register is housed in a silver plated book holder with an embossed design and the B. S. A. trademark and lettering.
