These official Wilson batting gloves were worn by Gil Reyes during his career with the Montreal Expos. Each glove was autographed by Gil Reyes with a black sharpie on the Wilson logo of the glove body with the following inscription: - "Gil Reyes - God Bless Always" These batting gloves show great game use and were obtained directly from the Chaplin of the Montreal Expos whose collection we recently purchased.

Gil Reyes (Gilberto Rolando (Polanco) Reyes) was born on December 10, 1963 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on June 11, 1983 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1991, his rookie year, he hit .217 with 0 home runs and 13 RBI. Reyes played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Montreal Expos over the course of his 7 year career.
