A wonderful written book by John Hassall with black and white text illustrations by John Hassall of everyday thoughts and rhymes ranging from life's little travails and what ever else you can thing of. This first edition book with it's green cloth covers, gilt titles and vignettes and gilt edges contains 224 pages and was published in 1903 by George Routledge and Sons Ltd., New York. The book is in excellent condition with some foxing to the front and rear inside flaps and the top edges of some of the pages. There is some wear to the edges of the cover and the top and bottom of the spine.
