This set of four mix & match porcelain bonbon dishes was made by Woods & Sons, England and distributed by L. Barth & Son, New York to the hotel and restaurant industry. There are three small round porcelain dishes measuring 5 1/4" in diameter in the green line pattern with a ribbed edge design surrounding the well of the dish and are great for serving nuts and small candies. The fourth dish, in the red line pattern is oblong shaped, measures 7 3/4" in length, has a scalloped design around the rim of the dish and is ideal for serving chocolates or finger foods. The back of all four dishes bears the trademark of Woods & Sons and are marked "Made for L. Barth & Sons, New York - Woods & Sons, England. These dishes were manufactured around the early 1900"s and are in absolute mint condition with no chips, crack or crazing and can be used just about every where to serve your favorite treats.
