What a fantastic piece of Americana from bygone days. This gorgeous Edward Miller & Co. (EM & Co) of Meriden, Conn. slag glass table lamp - Model No. 1159. The body and structure of the lamp is solid brass with an antique bronze finish. The shade holds 6 marbled colored slag glasses surrounded by an ornate frieze design. The base of the lamp has a raised ornate linear design. The lamp measures 22" high by 14 1/2" wide and has been completely rewired. This lamp is in absolute MINT condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and the bottom of the base is signed EM & Co. A shrewd businessman, Miller never rested on his laurels. He strove for perfection and insisted upon the highest quality for all his products.
