Beautiful hand stitched very heavy silk and silk lined formal antique Haori (an overcoat worn over Kimono) made in Japan. Beautiful embroidered floral accents all over the silk.

Can be worn (size is small) or used as a decorative accent piece. Condition is excellent. It has been stored folded in the traditional Japanese manner and at some point has had something spilled on it which has caused a stain on the lining to both sides of the front. It is not apparent on the outside of the garment.

There is also a quarter size stain on the right sleeve (see photos). Fully lined and hand sewn this is a very heavy Haori of exceptional quality.

There is a modern label that reads "Antique Kimono Made in Japan" and a white embroidered original maker symbol embroidered on the back.

Size is 37" long, 50" from sleeve tip to sleeve tip. Asian fit and approx size is a petite 34-36" bust.
