Glass : Anchor Hocking, Forest Green, Milano Beverage Set Mint

 

Anchor Hocking began production of the "Milano" pattern in 1959 and continued until 1963 when the pattern name was changed to "Lido." At that time, the old glass moulds were remade by the Zanesville Mould Company in Ohio, a newly acquired Anchor Hocking Corporation subsidiary. The new moulds were so different that the name was changed to "Lido." Although the "Milano" pattern is very similar to the "Lido" design, it has a distinctive and more defined "crinkle" than "Lido." "Milano" was produced in Forest Green and Crystal ONLY. The set includes; SIX 5.5 inch, 12 oz. tumblers and one- 96 oz. ball pitcher All are in MINT condition. All six of the tumblers are stamped with the Anchor Glass Company logo.
