A contemporary leather jewelry design. Seven thin leather cords are encircled by a sleeve of threaded delicate glass beads. They are of gold tone and glow nicely. The sleeve is the center of the necklace with 26 coils of beads. Each coil is separately sewn by hand to the leather necklace in order to ensure tightness and strength. An oval sterling silver pendant dangles from the necklace. It is accented with a gray agate stone with a rim of same beads. The gray agate stone suits the silver color of the leather necklace and shines with various tones as hit by light. The closures of the necklace are also made of sterling silver (925). The necklace is 16". The sterling silver pendant is 0.9" x 0.7". All works of this hand made jewelry, including color dying the leather, are made in house.
