Leather jewelry can be very interesting when designed with other materials. This romantic-contemporary necklace choker is a marriage of leather, sterling silver, pearls, beads and cameo picture. According to Persian legend, the first tulips sprang up from the drops of blood shed by a lover and for a long time the tulip was the symbol of passionate love. The image of a very dark purple tulip is imprinted in a special technique and set in a vintage-like oval sterling silver pendant. Two black 10 mm Czech fire polished beads are attached to the pendant. The choker is made of white Freshwater Pearls, and in between them four 8 mm and eight 3 mm Czech fire -polished black beads, and eight small white Miyuki delica beads. The black genuine leather stripes are clasped with sterling silver parts. The choker closes by Velcro fasteners sewn to the leather, which adjust to fit sizes from 12.5" to 15". The width of the leather stripes is 25 mm. The size of the pendant is 32 X 22 mm and it is 4 mm thick. A passionate piece of hand made fashion jewelry that stands out.
