This is a dramatic fashion jewelry of unconventional design. A necklace which is spiritual and cool. A hollow romantic silver pendant with a cross shape opening is filled with black velvet. It hangs loosely on a contemporary velvet necklace. The cross ends resemble the shape of fleur-de-lis. It is three dimensional due to the pear shape of the silver pendant. In the studio we call it "pregnant pendant". Perhaps I should have titled it bridal necklace or wedding jewelry. The back of the pendant is made of a flat sterling silver cover holding the velvet insert. On top of the pendant there is a ring which links like chain from the necklace silver connector. The black velvet necklace is hand sewn and closes by my designed silver hook closures. It is 15.5" long. Length can be adjusted upon request. The silver pendant is 52 mm long, 20 wide and 12 mm thick. It weighs with the closures 25 grams. All metal parts are made of sterling silver - 925.
