Blue transferware square bowl made by Johnson Brothers in the very collectible Old Britain Castles pattern.

The center of the vegetable bowl features a blue transfer pattern of Ruthin Castle in 1792. Bowl measures 8 1/2" square and 2 1/2" high.

Remarkable condition with no chips or cracks. Some crazing.

Marked on the back with the blue crown and Johnson Brothers, Made in England, Old Britain Castles.
