Marked on the bottoms of the pieces: Ges Gesch. This mark was used in Germany between 1890 and 1930 and means "Patent Approved".
The twenty-four (24) pieces set includes the teapot and lid. The teapot measures 9 1/2" high and 8" wide including the handle and spout.
Also included are the sugar bowl and lid. The sugar bowl measures 4 3/4" high and 5 3/4" wide.
Another bowl with the lid measures 4" high and 5" wide. The inside of the bowl has some crazing or age marks.
There are six cups and saucers. The saucers measure 6 1/2" in diameter. The cups are 2 1/4" high and 4 1/4" wide including the handle.
Lastly, we have six plates that measure 7" in diameter.
We found no chips or cracks on these pieces. They are old and have a few pops in the glaze from the manufacturing process. Overall remarkable condition.
An outstanding set of twenty-four (24) pieces.
