This goldeneye decoy was carved by one of the well known Paquette family from Quebec. Upon showing this decoy to collectors who collect decoys from Quebec all agree that it was carved by one of the Paquettes, and many believe it was carved by Joseph. It has spectacular feather carving on the back, and great detailed carving on the bill. It still has the weight and line ties on it, and it has probably the best old paint surface on any decoy that I have had.
