Offered is a bluebill decoy by Beany Anderson 1882-1950 of Trenton, Ontario. Anderson was a house painter who in the 1930s saw some Ray Andress decoys and developed his own style that was similar to Andress. His decoys are solid body decoys. This bluebill is in very good original paint with detailed bill carving, scratch painting, and a wide paddle tail. It has an inletted weight, and a line tie. Anderson decoys in this condition are not found every day.
