Goldeneye Hen Decoy by Russel Tanner

This goldeneye hen was carved by Russel Tanner of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia 1911-1979. The decoy is circa 1940-1950. It is in excellent original paint with normal gunning wear. It has an inletted head, great scratch painting, and carved eyes. The bottom has an inletted weight, and two leather line ties.
