Offered is a great piece of American folk art. I have always felt that most pig shaped cutting board were school wood shop projects. This pig came from Michigan and is signed by members of the class of 1943, with a couple of other names with later years. The board is in excellent condition with no cracks. This will make a great addition to any kitchen collection.

Offered is a round bread board that came from Berks County PA not far from the village of Oley. Most bread boards are about 12" this one is about 9 3/4 inches across. It is turned on both sides, has nice edge carving, a great patina and the kind of wear that you want to see on an old bread board.

Offered is a spectacular bluebill hen decoy that is attributed to William G. Loney (1878-1956) of Milford, Ontario. This decoy has original paint with minor wear. Offered is a rare black duck decoy carved by Augustus "Gus" Wilson 1864-1950 of Portland, Maine. Gus was lighthouse keeper, and many of his decoys were carved at Marshall's Point light. This decoy is circa 1930-1935. It has all the things that Wilson is known for including Carved eyes, raised wings, inletted head, flat bottom, and simple body lines. The decoy has been hit by shot, and there is some touch up to the bill. This is a great piece by a carver whose decoys are highly prized.

This carving was done by Daniel Snowball of George River Village in the Ungava Bay region of the Canadian arctic. It is a goose with out stretched wings. It is carved from caribou horn, and sits on a base that is also made from horn. I purchased it from Daniel in the early 1980s. At the time he was in his early 20s, and young carvers worked with horn to perfect their carving before working with soapstone. Inuit art of all types is highly collectable.

This is a pair of bluebills from the Dunville, Ontario area. They are is near mint condition with rasp and feather and bill carving detail. They have a rig brand on the bottom DS 55. The original tag that was on them when I got them stated that they were carved by Doc Smith who was a friend of Ken Anger, and his influence can be seen in the decoys. They were rigged for hunting at one time, but have seen very light use.

This is a copy of the 1st book that was published about Mason Decoys. It was published in 1974 and is long out of print. It covers all the decoys that Mason made with photos in both color and black and white. The book is in very good condition. The dust jacket is in good shape with a couple of minor tears on the back. This book will be an excellent addition to any decoy reference library.

Offered is a bluebill decoy by Beany Anderson 1882-1950 of Trenton, Ontario. Anderson was a house painter who in the 1930s saw some Ray Andress decoys and developed his own style that was similar to Andress. His decoys are solid body decoys. This bluebill is in very good original paint with detailed bill carving, scratch painting, and a wide paddle tail. It has an inletted weight, and a line tie. Anderson decoys in this condition are not found every day.

This is an early bluebill hen from Prince Edward County Ontario, Canada by a carver who is unknown to me. It was carved in the 2nd quarter of the 20th century. It is hollow with a bottom board. Old working paint has been taken off leaving mostly original. The bill has been repainted, and has a stable age crack in it. This is a genuine early working decoy, it has been lightly hit by shot. It will enhance any collection.

Offered are two Royal Bayreuth pitchers with the hunting scene of horses and hounds. The first scene is when the hunters are getting ready for the hunt, the second is when the hunt has started. Both pitchers are in excellent condition with no chips or repairs, and both carry the Royal Bayreuth blue mark on the bottom. One pitcher is 4 3/4 " tall the other is 4" tall.

This is a relief carved owl on an old piece of barn board. There owl is 16 inches tall, and the branch is also relief carved. The entire piece measures 17 inches wide and 28 1/2 high, and has a farm scene painted at the bottom. There is a name cold stamped in the lower right, but it is illegible. Offered is a hen goldeneye decoy from Mass. It is from the W.M. Looke rig and carries his brand on the bottom. It is in excellent original paint with very subtle feather painting which has darkened a bit with age to a great patina . It has an inletted head, and weight. There is minor wear and a very small knot hole in one side, and lightly hit by shot. The appraised value of this decoy is $1250-$1750. It will be a great addition to any collection.

This is a group of four steel engravings that were hand colored. They were done by Morris Publishing circa 1880. The pictures are all in very good condition, and mounted on picture matting. One matte has a small stain near the bottom that does not impact the picture. The size of the matte is 9"x10 3/4", with the picture size 4 3/4"x6 3/4" The price is for the set of four. The pictures are much better than my camera work.
