Offered is a pin dish by Royal Bayreuth. It is club shaped with "Little Boy Blue" asleep in a hay stack. There are no chips or repairs, and no more than minor wear to the gold rim. It carries the Royal Bayreuth blue mark on the bottom. A hard to find example.

This is an early bluebill hen from Prince Edward County Ontario, Canada by a carver who is unknown to me. It was carved in the 2nd quarter of the 20th century. It is hollow with a bottom board. Old working paint has been taken off leaving mostly original. The bill has been repainted, and has a stable age crack in it. This is a genuine early working decoy, it has been lightly hit by shot. It will enhance any collection.

Offered are two Royal Bayreuth pitchers with the hunting scene of horses and hounds. The first scene is when the hunters are getting ready for the hunt, the second is when the hunt has started. Both pitchers are in excellent condition with no chips or repairs, and both carry the Royal Bayreuth blue mark on the bottom. One pitcher is 4 3/4 " tall the other is 4" tall.

This foot stool came from Berks County, PA. I believe that this stool probably started it's life as a yarn winder, and at some point the winder was cut off and it was used as a stool. This is a Jack and the Bean Stalk pin box that was made by Royal Bayreuth. The box is large about 5 1/2 inches across. It is one of highly prized pieces that has the rhyme written on it. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, and carries the Royal Bayreuth blue mark on the bottom.

This is a group of four steel engravings that were hand colored. They were done by Morris Publishing circa 1880. The pictures are all in very good condition, and mounted on picture matting. One matte has a small stain near the bottom that does not impact the picture. The size of the matte is 9"x10 3/4", with the picture size 4 3/4"x6 3/4" The price is for the set of four. The pictures are much better than my camera work.

This black duck was carved by David Kavanough of Athens, Ontario 1875-1966. Kavanough was a feed merchant who carved and sold decoys until about 1920. This decoy is probably earlier than 1920,and it still retains it's original keel. There is a note on the bottom that it came from the Larry Lunman collection.

Offered is a rare goldeneye hen decoy that was carved by William Hart (1875-1946) of Belleville, Ontario. Hart decoys are often mistaken for decoys that were made by Fred Croft and William Crysler. In April of 2005 a Hart merganser set a record price at auction for a Canadian decoy selling for over $200,000. Hart made only one small rig of this style of decoy in the early 1900s. This bucket is fresh to the market. It just came from a barn in Eastern Ontario, Canada. It dates to the late 19th century or early 20th century before metal buckets were mass produced. It is all original, with the remains of red paint on the bottom. Good original wooden maple syrup buckets are hard to find. The bucket is tapered from the top to a wider bottom, and is 10 inches high, and 9 1/4 across the top. Price includes UPS shipping within the lower 48 states.

Offered is a hen goldeneye decoy from Mass. It is from the W.M. Looke rig and carries his brand on the bottom. It is in excellent original paint with very subtle feather painting which has darkened a bit with age to a great patina . It has an inletted head, and weight. There is minor wear and a very small knot hole in one side, and lightly hit by shot. The appraised value of this decoy is $1250-$1750. It will be a great addition to any collection.

This is a trencher that was found in Lanark County, Ontario. It is 27 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. The surface is untouched. There are a couple of old splits that were made stable with square hand made nails. I am not 100% sure, but I believe the wood to be butternut. This will make an excellent addition to any kitchen collection, or a wonderful center piece for your table.

Offered is a very rare decoy that was carved by Dan Bartlett (1839-1926) of West Lake, Ontario. Bartlett was a trapper, fisherman, and ran a hotel in an area call Sandbanks in Prince Edward County. It is believed that he made decoys between 1860 and 1900. This decoy is hollow with a bottom board and feather light. It is in a second coat of paint which you would expect on a decoy of it's age. Offered is a very large wooden finial. It is about 10 1/2 inches tall, and about 19 inches around the base. I believe it probably sat on a porch, or possibly the top of a barber pole and is from the 1st quarter of the twentieth century. There are still some traces of the original black , and white paint still present.

Offered is a very rare redhead decoy by Walter Humphrey from the Toronto Harbor area of Ontario. This decoy is hollow carved and feather light. It still has the leather line tie, and glass eyes. It is circa 1900. I believe it is a very old in use repaint. These decoys don't come onto the market very often. It has HZ on the bottom which is the rig brand, and it has been hit by shot. It is a great piece of gunning history from Ontario.

This redhead is an early Delaware River decoy. Most redheads were repainted as bluebills when hunting for redheads was banned. It has a fluted tail, and an inletted weight which indicates that it was made by a carver who also carved in the New Jersey style. The decoy is in good condition, with some checks and dings that can be seen in the photos. This is an early piece of gunning history.

This bluebill decoy was carved by Harry Glover of Hamilton, Ontario. There is not a lot of information on Harry, but his decoys are well know by collectors. It is hollow carved and feather light with a thin bottom board that was made from a cedar shingle. The comb painting on the back is spectacular. I would date it to the 1930's but it may be earlier.
