A SPECTACULAR Highly Collectible Vintage Mexican Silver Taxco Necklace featuring a Large Genuine Silky Smooth Tiger Eye Gemstone Pendant Signed "POM" and Rare LONG 27-1/2" Ornate Vintage Silver Chain, both with the #3 Eagle Mark, origin Mexico circa late 1950's-1970's! (See ALL Photos!)

This Vintage Mexican Silver Necklace is a Unique Striking Handcrafted Piece consisting of a Large Bevel-Set Cabochon Tigers Eye Gem surrounded by a Braided Silver Frame! The Bale is Nice and Wide to accompany most any size Chain as well. The Rare Vintage Silver Chain is Amazing with Fancy Scallop Links alternating with Paper Clip Type Links and closes with a Hook Clasp in back. ALL Links are securely soldered close. It is entirely Handcrafted too and is Long at 27-1/2" to easily slide over your head! Both the Pendant and Chain have All Original Parts weighing a Substantial 19.1 grams of Sterling Silver (925/1000)!

Measurements are 1-5/8" in length by over 1-1/4" in width for the Pendant (not including the Top Bale). The Tiger's Eye Gem alone measures about 1" in length by 7/8" in width. The Mexican Vintage Silver Chain measures 27-1/2" (closed) with a width of over 1/8"!

This Vintage Mexican Silver Jewelry is in EXCELLENT Condition without ANY Cracks or Chips to the Tigers Eye. The Primitive Appearance is all part of their desirable Attraction.

The Pendant is Hallmarked "TAXCO MEXICO 925" forming a circle enclosed with the Designer's Maker Mark "POM" and a separate Eagle Mark with the number 3 inside. The Chain is Hallmarked on the Clasp with "925 MEXICO" and the number 3 inside the Eagle Mark.

After 1979, the Eagle Stamp was no longer used and the Mexico Government instituted the Registry System making these PRE-1979 pieces Highly Collectible and increasingly more in demand.
