A Heavenly Nearest-To-Mint Condition 18" Victorian Bisque German Antique Child Doll Hallmarked with the Horse Shoe of Ernst Heubach of Koppelsdorf, Thuringia, Germany in conjunction with Heinrich Handwerck circa 1888! (See ALL Photos!)

This Beautiful German Bisque Doll has Gorgeous Rosy Shaded Cheeks with a Beautiful Smooth Complexion, an Open Mouth with Fabulous Coral Pouty Lips, 5 Perfect White Teeth, Deep Brown Glass Stationary Eyes with Red Dotted Corners, Wonderful Feathery Deep Brown Eyebrows on her well-proportioned Dolly Face with dimple in Chin and a Shoulder Head which is significant of the Victorian Era. All Face Paint is Original to her.

This German Antique Doll has her Original 5 Piece Kid Body with poseable wired arms. She has a Soft Clean Wavy Blond Mohair Wig without any thinning. You can feel the Original Pate on top of her crown opening through her hair.

This Antique German Doll wears a Vintage Ivory Genuine Silk and Lace Blouse plus Skirt that are both Hand-sewn and Machine Sewn. The Lace on it are both Vintage and Antique. All Backs close with working Snaps. It is in Good Condition but has a few typical tears on the silk from age. Her Precious Batiste Pantaloon Underwear are trimmed with Fine Lace and closes with a Snap in back. They are Antique and are in Perfect Condition. She wears a Genuine Victorian Locket around her neck (does not open) and Deep Rose Color Kid Leather Slippers on her feet. All the Doll Clothing is in Sparkling Pristine Condition and has been Professionally Cleaned so you can feel free to hug her the minute she arrives. There is no such thing as Patina on Clothing so we always make sure the Garments are clean or the acid from age will deteriorate it.

This Antique German Doll herself is in AMAZING Near Mint Condition! Her Painted Bisque Head is Gorgeous without any discoloring, cracks, or chips. Her Antique Kid Body is practically Flawless with the normal exception of where the previous stand held her and some expected rubs to where her arms were exposed. Her Kid Leather Body is ULTRA clean without any rips, tears or opening seams! (See photos of how the leather body has maintained it's whiteness for over 100 years!) Her hands are without ANY Chips or Cracks too! Both her Kid Body, Hands and Head are Original to this Wonderful Doll!

Here's the Hallmark Story on this Doll's Maker! Heinrich Handwerck also had a Doll Factory in Thuringia, Germany from 1855 onward but they had others produce the Heads for their dolls. Their Definite Signature Mark is underneath the Horse Shoe Mark of Ernst Heubach seen as "HCH 3/0 H". Ernst Heubach whose Signature is incised as the Horse Shoe is on Top which would conclude that Heubach produced the Doll to sell under the Heinrich Handwerck name!
