This Vintage Maid of Honor Scooper has a Gorgeous Ridged Art Deco Design Red Bakelite Handle with Gleaming Bright Stainless Steel Hardware and a Mechanism that works Brand New with complete ease and motion. It's just like the ones used in the Old-Fashioned Luncheonettes and Ice Cream Parlors back in the 1940's and this one comes in it's Original Box! Both make such Impressive Collectibles in your Kitchen with your Bakelite Utensils and Appliances.

This Maid of Honor Bakelite Ice Cream Scooper is hallmarked on the lever in script "Maid of Honor Stainless" and also on the Original Box. The Box has wonderful Blue and White 1940's graphics on All Sides and states the product was only available through the department store "Sears Roebuck and Co." with a serial number of 4372.

This Cherry Red Vintage Bakelite Utensil is in Pristine MINT Condition. The Bakelite has been Positively Tested Authentic Antique Vintage Bakelite and is 100% Guaranteed! The Original Box is Strong and Sturdy. It has some overall aging. All corners are Intact without Any breakage and is without Any fading! Perfect for protecting your Vintage Bakelite Scooper for many years to come.

Measurements are 8-1/2" in length with the Spoon Part at 2-1/2" in diameter. The Box measures 8-3/4" in length by 3" in width with a side depth of 1-3/4".

Bakelite is an early Polymeric Plastic made from a Phenol Formaldehyde Resin which is unmeltable invented by Leo Hendrik Baekeland in 1907 and is in high demand today.
