This Beautiful 17" Antique Arranbee Composition Child Doll has a Most Gorgeous Face with a Radiance that Glows!

Arranbee Nancy is an ALL Composition Doll being fully Jointed with an Open-Mouth, Top Teeth with Tongue, Perfect Bright Cherry Red Lips, Intensely Clear and Bright Blue Sleep Eyes with ALL Her Blondish Brown Sable Hair Eye-Lashes Intact, Brown Painted Brows, Painted Bottom Lashes, Charcoal Gray Shaded Eye Shadow and evenly Shaded Rosy Red Cheeks which is ALL Original to her!

Her Adorable Light Golden Blond Mohair Wig is Full without any thinning and Original to her. We gently neatened it up a bit to look her Sunday Best. It has the same Middle Part with 2 Braids and Curled Bangs.

This Precious Beauty is a Extremely Clean Composition Doll with all her Vibrant Facial Features present without any cracks or fading to her Face or Body. Her Body's Composition is strong and glossy with the usual inevitable wear around the joint area and some light discoloration. One leg shows some professional retouching which matches great with the composition and is unobvious especially to her Overall Excellent Appearance. Her stringing inside looks Good and Strong. She has all her Fingers and Toes intact too. On the Back of her Head, this Darling Antique Arranbee Doll is Signed "NANCY".

Composition Arranbee Nancy wears a Beautiful Pink Ensemble which is all in Excellent Condition! All Her Doll Clothing is in Sparkling Clean Condition, Freshly Laundered and Pressed so you can feel free to hug her the minute she arrives. There is no such thing as Patina on Clothing so we always make sure the Garments are clean or the acid from age will deteriorate it. The Incredible Double Breasted Baby Pink Tailored Coat, and it IS Incredible, is made of a Very Fine Lightweight Wool with Blue and White Embroidery on the Collar and Cuff Sleeves. There are 2 Mother Of Pearl Buttons sewn on Front with 3 Snaps for the Closure. This Antique Jacket has a Silky Smooth White Satin Fabric Lining and is made so well that I truly can't tell if this is Manufactured or Professionally Sewn.

Her Gorgeous Finely Crocheted Lacy Hat has a Most Darling Design of Medium Pink Rosettes on Off-White and closes with Pink Ribbons. I actually left it open not to wrinkle the ribbons. Underneath, Nancy is wearing a Perfect Organza Type Sheer White Dress that is puckered at the waist with a White Bow Embroidery near the neckline and closes with working snaps in back. Gee, I wish I had these Clothes for myself!

This Antique Doll matches all the way to her toes with Adorable Vintage Antique White Knit Silky Socks that are accented with a Top Pink Stripe! Her Nylon Lace Trimmed Undies and Deep Cranberry Leather Shoes look newer and are both in Excellent Condition too. Accented around Nancy's Braids are Two Sweet Pink Antique Silk Ribbon Ties.

The Arranbee Doll Company was located in New York, N.Y. and were in business making Quality Dolls from 1922 to 1958. They were sold to the Vogue Doll Company who used their molds till 1961. Arranbee Nancy Dolls were manufactured to compete with Effanbee's Patsy Doll and compares to the Shirley Temple Doll of this Era.
