Return Policy

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Payment is expected within 3 days of purchase.
I do combine shipping for multiple items, and will amend your purchase order to reflect actual combined amount or, if you pay right away, I'll refund the difference.
I ship Tuesdays and Fridays. Payments received after 5 pm CST on Monday will ship Friday; after 5 pm CST on Thursday will ship Tuesday. This is meant to allow me time to adequately prepare your package for shipping.
Most domestic shipping done via the United States Postal Service (USPS) with Delivery Confirmation. Ship amount quoted includes Delivery Confirmation. When an item is listed with free shipping, only the ship costs are free. Delivery confirmation and insurance--unless insurance is declined--are paid by the buyer. Insurance is quoted separately, but if you don't want it, be sure to check "Decline Insurance" when putting in your purchase order.
International shipping usually done via USPS First Class International. However, in order to qualify for the lower cost associated with 1st Class International shipping, you MUST decline insurance when putting in your purchase order (since insurance isn't offered with the lower cost shipping). If you do not decline insurance, I'll assume you want it and will charge the higher cost shipping associated with sending an insured package overseas.
For all buyers, if you choose not to insure, please know that I am not responsible for damages or loss once the item has left my hands. Even though I make every effort to package SUPER carefully--the way I'd want it packaged if it was coming to me--the postal service does make mistakes. When in doubt, opt for insurance.
If you choose to send cash payments, you MUST do so in a way that can be traced.
If you pay by check, I only accept checks drawn on a U.S. bank, and item(s) will be held until the check clears (7-10 days).
Restocking Fee:
I charge a 15% restocking fee on returned items. Shipping charges are generally non-refundable, but will be dealt with on an individual basis. Items must be returned within 3 days of receipt and must be in the same condition they were in when received (unless a damage claim is made. See "Damaged Item Procedure" under Ruby Lane Return Policy).

Layaways and custom orders are available. Deposits and payments are non-refundable, so please contact me for details prior to purchase.
