Vintage peach lusterware footed bowl is so fun, with the prettiest smoky blue outside and peach inside, that sports a lovely primary colored bird on a leafy branch surrounded by colorful balloon-like berries. Too sweet! Measures 2-1/8" high x 4-1/2" across, is stamped "Made in Japan" on the bottom, and is in very good vintage condition. Some of the black outline on the rim of the bowl is missing, and there are minor bits of luster loss here and there, but overall I would consider wear issues minor and normal for its age. There are also a couple of green smudges that you can see at about 11 o'clock on the gallery pic, but these appear to have occurred during the manufacturing process. Very pretty bowl would make a great soap dish, or how about a holiday candy bowl? Or just a pretty bowl to put your prettier trinkets in? Many possibilities with this one!
