Antique carnelian pendant necklace is out of this world gorgeous, with fantastic carved beads of carnelian and serpentine, culminating in an even more fantastically pierced and carved pendant (notice that even the back is carved) that's set in a bezel setting to show off the glorious stone--just look at the coloring! Crazy amazing!! And the setting itself, wow, remarkable as well, with a decorative scalloped edge holding the stone in place, three-dimensional leaves running all around the circumference, and the clasp soldered onto the right side (left side in the pic) so it clasps in front instead of in back.

Marked sterling on the back, it measures 13-3/4", choker length, meant to be worn so the pendant nestles right into the well of the throat. I'm selling this beauty for my sister who told me it may have been restrung at one point. It fits beautifully on a smaller neck.The carved carnelian and serpentine beads measure 10 mm, the spacer beads are 4 mm.
