Outrageously beautiful antique sew thru purse frame has definitely got it goin' on! A "crown" consisting of enameled leaves and a white enameled flower decorate the center front, with blue glass jewels and gold tone beads decorating the crown's center top and fabulous floral design running down its sides. The frame's horizontal bars--both front and back--have the most graceful grapes and vines motif, and in the center of the front one is a purse pull with the same enameled flower that's on the crown, as well as a tiny bezel set faux pearl. Pull is fantastically decorated as well, but sadly is missing the medallion below the pearl. Given that the bezel is undisturbed, and that its shape is round (as opposed to the flower shaped bezels around the two white enameled flowers), it shouldn't be too hard to find a substitute. Each vertical bar has a floral design running its length, topped off with a chevron type shield; chain can be doubled or single; frame opens and closes easily; has sew thru holes to attach the purse, and aside from the aforementioned missing medallion, it's in excellent condition given its age. It could use a good soft cloth cleaning if that's your thing, but it's fabulous as is too. I'll leave that up to you, the sure-to-be THRILLED future owner of this extraordinary frame.
