Antique Carved Carnelian Necklace and Earrings

This is a highly collectible set as these pieces are becoming more difficult to find. It is circa 1900 and Chinese in origin. There are 25 hand-carved antique carnelian beads measuring 13mm in diameter. The pendant is a clasp and measures a large 2 inches in length by 1 1/2 inches in width with a floral design. It is framed with ornate vermeil decoration. The back is elaborate floral filigree work with only slight loss in a couple of places commensurate with age. The clasp works perfectly. It necklace measures almost 15 inches in length but could be lengthened by adding spacers in between the beads. It has a matching pair of earrings set with one 11mm carved carnelian and a rock crystal dangle. They are screw backs. This is a collector's set.
