A beautiful example of delicate gold filigree and cannetille work is seen here in this fine Nouveau handmade pendant. Including the seed pearl dangles and bale the pendant is 2 inches in length and 3/4 inches in width. It is set with two very bright and deeply colored amethysts. The largest stone is surrounded with seed pearls and underneath it is a small natural pearl surrounded with seed pearls. On either side is beautiful filigree work that looks like wings. There are tiny gold florets interspersed on the pendant. I can see two missing but they are so tiny it is not noticeable overall, the size of a pin head. This pendant is marked "14kt" on the base on the back. This is a lovely, delicate work or art. Hangs on a tiny 16 inch gold chain.
