Let us not be too particular. It is better to have old second-hand diamonds than none at all. ~Mark Twain

Early 1900's marketing - "Let Taylor tailor you once and Taylor will tailor you always". A very dapper gentleman models elegance and success if you buy your suits from J.L. Taylor, NY/Chicago too. This handsome gentleman is modeling suit number 636, a two-button regent with the latest English lapels and high vest. "The very thing for leaders in dress" is stated at the bottom of the page. Framed original page from the JL Taylor catalog measures 18" x 25-1/2 inches. Framed in a nutmeg colored wood, ready to hang. The best surprise is turning the frame over to see that it is framed with double glass to reveal the original fabric swatches from this early 1900's catalog in excellent, dare I say MINT, condition. The page has yellowed a bit with the original paste mark on the extreme left from the catalog. No foxing, though. The paper is in excellent condition. A very light scratch under the second suit jacket button can be seen in the photos. It doesn't detract for one minute from this incredible piece of vintage clothing history. Exquisite and oh so rare. You can see a reflection of my hands taking the photographs in photos #2 and #3, showing up as light areas on the suit jacket. That's just my reflection, not the item.
