Let us not be too particular. It is better to have old second-hand diamonds than none at all. ~Mark Twain
This is a lithograph printed in the late 1800's. Henry V happens to be one of my favorite Shakespearean plays. This particular scene, which is depicted in this lithograph, is witty and funny and tender. Overall print size is 9 x 12 inches including white borders, actual scene is 7-1/4 x 9-1/4 inches. Condition is very good. Bright and clean. Blank on reverse. Paper is quality woven rag stock paper. Suitable for framing.
Artist: WF Yeames (1835-1918) William Frederick Yeames was a member of the St John's Wood Clique. This group of artists painted historical and narrative paintings which, although popular with the public, were never critically acclaimed.
