Josephine Paddock was an American artist. She was born in Manhattan in 1885. Josephine was considered quite a diverse artist, painting primarily in oils and watercolors. In 1913 at the Armory Show in New York City, she exhibited two small, watercolor sketches of swans. She studied art at the New York Art Students' League and she spent her summers at the Art Colony in Gloucester, MA. along with her sister Ethel, who was also an artist.
