100 Boxed Set Underwood Stereoviews of the Boer War

A complete boxed set of Underwood stereocards of the Boer War, consisting of 100 cards, numbered from 1 to 100.

The images are all in good condition, with clear, sharp photos, but varying in contrast. The mounts are also all good, some with minor damage and some slight variations in shade. The majority of cards are grey, but there are some buff cards.

There are many images of British troops, shipping, tanks, early aircraft etc. and numerous photographs of soldiers in varying combat situations.

They were published by Underwood and Underwood.

The original box is average condition, a bit scuffed with some staining. It is titled 'The South African War through the Stereoscope.

Card Size approx 7x3.25ins (17.5x9cms)
