The large decorative barometer face is made from white glass with beautiful hand painted lettering. There is some very slight fading in parts of the lettering, but it is very minor and almost unnoticeable (see close up images)

The main pointer is made from brass and the subsidiary pointer is made from blued steel.

It is in full working order.

The carved oak surround is also in excellent condition, with some very minor signs of wear and age, but not damage. It retains its original colour and patina.

There is no indication of the manufacturer, but nevertheless this a fine and attractive example of a good quality, collectable and useful instrument.
