Cosmetically, the polished black ebonised outer body is complete and in excellent condition, with some rubbing and scuffing, but no actual damage. The front panel is painted with a multi coloured floral design
The polished soft wood interior is again very clean and free from any significant damage
The lenses are original and clean, producing a correct stereo image. One of the eyepieces has a small repair, but this is not particularly obvious.
The sliding card holder to the rear, slides smoothly.
The lacquered brass is again in fair condition, with no damage, but some tarnishing, as you would expect in an instrument of this age.
A scarce item in this condition, for which I would say 8+/10 was fair, considering its age.
These stereo viewers were made towards the end of the 19th century, this one is one of the larger more decorative models.
