The viewer has a pair of stereo lenses, surmounted by larger single lens, mounted on a hinged front panel
The rear folding panel has a slot for holding stereoviews and another for photographs.
All the fittings are original.
It is made in solid mahogany with a polished finish. There are the usual minor bumps and indents in the wood due to general wear and tear, but nothing significant.
The base is covered with the original beige stain
The lenses have no defects and work correctly.
On the whole a neat piece of Victorian craftsmanship, clean and ready for use.
There is no indication of a maker.
Approx size of viewer when closed 11.5x6.5x2.75ins (29x16.5x6.5cms) max height when open 14ins (35cms).
