A fine hand painted moving magic lantern slide C1870 mounted in a mahogany frame. The slide shows a fixed image of a river scene with a watermill. The rackwork movement shows the waterwheel moving . The mechanism is smooth and the slide is in excellent condition with some slight defects to the painting, but nothing detrimental, but no damage to the glasses.

Overall Size of mount approx 7x4.5ins (18x11cms). Image size 3ins dia (7.5cms dia)
