An excellent and attractive English Victorian aneroid barometer set into a carved oak Black Forest surround. The large decorative barometer face is made from white glass with beautiful hand painted lettering. There is some very slight fading in parts of the lettering, but it is very minor and almost unnoticeable (see close up images) The main pointer is made from brass and the subsidiary pointer is made from blued steel.
